Media Alert: Tenable Chairman and CEO to Testify at House Committee on Oversight and Reform Hearing

Tenable®, Inc., the Cyber Exposure company, today announced that its chairman and CEO, Amit Yoran, will testify at a House Committee on Oversight and Reform Hearing to examine the bipartisan H.R. 7331, the National Cyber Director Act of 2020.

The hearing will be held virtually on Wednesday, July 15 at 12:00 PM ET and will include testimony from Yoran and the following experts:

Yoran’s deep background in public sector cybersecurity, including his time as the National Cybersecurity Director and the founding Director of US-CERT in the Department of Homeland Security, will help inform his expert testimony. In addition, his leadership in private industry — having founded and built two successful private cybersecurity companies, and having served as president of RSA from 2014 to 2016 in addition to his current role at Tenable — provides him a unique perspective on the importance of appointing a national cyber coordinator within the office of the President.
