Synopsis

The remote host is affected by a denial of service vulnerability.

Description

According to its self-reported version, the Cisco TelePresence Server running on the remote host is affected by a denial of service vulnerability due to improper processing of malformed Session Traversal Utilities for NAT (STUN) packets. An unauthenticated, remote attacker can exploit this, via specially crafted STUN packets, to cause the device to reload, resulting in a denial of service condition.

Solution

Upgrade to the relevant fixed version referenced in Cisco bug ID CSCuv01348.
