Synopsis

The remote host is missing a vendor-supplied security patch.

Description

According to its self-reported version, the version of Cisco Unified Presence Server installed on the remote host has a denial of service vulnerability. An unauthenticated, remote attacker could exploit this by sending specially crafted packets to the SIP port (TCP 5060), resulting in excessive CPU consumption.

Solution

Upgrade to Cisco Unified Presence Server 8.6.4SU2 / 9.1.1 or later.
